That Magic Moment 💫✨🌟⭐️💫

That Magic Moment 💫 when two little kitties showed up at our back door on my daughter's birthday back on October 27, 2017, a brother and sister team who I swear are a little witch and a tinner warlock in disguise. Lots of magic resides here now.

For the Happy Caturday group theme "Special Moments".

Spring Waltz 🌱

“There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature-the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter” ~ Rachel Carson

the above quote for March reads:

"If children at school can be made to understand

how it is just to be humane even to what we term inferior animals, it will do much to give them a higher tone and character through life."

 ~ John Bright

March break, a good time to learn more about nature

The cats found something to do

Like playing pretend and wishing that bird was not just a toy.

First day of spring

🍃🍃🍃But the weather forecast doesn't promise it's arrival any time soon.

So, on that note, I'll take from the cats on what to do, maybe take out my toys and paint a faraway place where spring is already in bloom.

HAPPY CATURDAY & EYES OF MARCH 🌼🐱🌼🐱🌼🐱🌼 Out of My Mind

“Imagine if you could dream 75 years of time in one night.”
Maggie…’ Well, I tried to but you interrupted my dream.’

Let’s suppose that you were able, every night, to dream any dream you wanted to dream. And you could, for example, have the power within one night to dream 75 years of time. Or any length of time you wanted to have.
And you would, naturally, as you began on this adventure of dreams, fulfill all your wishes. You would have every kind of pleasure.
And after several nights of seventy-five years of total pleasure each you would say, “Well, that was pretty great! But now let’s have a surprise.”

“Let’s have a dream which isn’t under control. Where something is going to happen to me but I don’t know what it’s going to be.”

And you would dig that, and come out of that and say, “Wow, that was a close shave, wasn’t it?”
Then you would get more and more adventurous.

And you would make further and further gambles as to what you would dream.

And finally, you would dream where you are now.

A Case of Vertigo ?

James Stewart and Alfred Hitchcock ...♥️ When one lives with cats the imagination runs wild 😂😸

"A feeling of dizziness...

A swimming in the head...

figuratively a state in which

all things seem to be engulfed

in a whirlpool of terror"

A DARK AND DREARY OCTOBER SKY 🎃🎃🎃

Black Bats, Werewolves, Pumpkins & Cats & Haunted Trees ***

Under this dark and dreary October sky, an otherworldly atmosphere occupies my space. Still painting but the light is escaping the room or maybe it's me : ) Love this little black velvety /rusty pumpkin I made using vintage fabric and a real pumpkin stem. Most of what you see on display are vintage treasures I collected on my country road trips to my favorite haunts. The German Werewolf Beer Stein is a recent find and the spooky cute haunted candlestick is even more adorable because it holds a wine cork candle with my birth year 1957 @ ghostales1957. The black velvet glass dish fits perfectly under the mini pumpkin. Love collecting the vintage Velvet glass and it doesn't look black in the light but sometimes it's purple or red when you place it in the light...bLACK mAGIC!

Something about this room, the cats just can't keep out. This time it was Maggie's turn to keep me company.

And All Through The House, Not a Stir 💔

Karson will be 15 years old on May 3rd

Karson is the last surviving pet of

"The Three Amigos"

This morning, all through the house, not stir. All three cats were sound asleep and just looking at Karson sleeping it's very clear he knows Grace is gone.

KARSON

The little ones, they too know she is gone.
