MAGGIE MAY & BATMAN

Our sweethearts, Maggie May & Batman are all snuggled and cozy and ready for bed. Maggie May's nickname derives from the Rod Stewart song of the same name. Maggie is a little princess and loves human companionship. She loves to cuddle and kiss and can't be left alone.

And Batman, well, Little Bat and his sister were orphaned and left in the cold. The little cat that looked more like a tiny teeny bat fought the odds and lives today with a passion for studying the wildlife in our front yard.

Bat wasn't put there he placed himself there, honest. Something about art and cats, they just get along so well.

Behind the painting is a photograph of my nono and nona in Italy. They brought me up until I left for Canada when I turned 7. They were the best!

Color or black and white? I think I like the b&w, I suppose the reason why I do is I love the color black.

PINK PANTHER ~ MEGLIO STASERA 🇮🇹🐱🍀🇨🇦 ♥️🙏

Reminiscing at the moment...

 When M took a picture of Bat in the pink kitty cat hat and named it Pink Panther it took me back to the 1963 movie Pink Panther and Fran Jefferies singing Meglio Stasera in the Ski Chalet MIRAMONTI in Cortina D'ampezzo in the province of Belluno. 

My dad was born there as most of the Livinal family. On my mother's side, Sposaro's family comes from Genova, Naples, and Calabria. Pretty much covering a good part of Italy. Most of our family lives in northern Italy. So, because today it is what it is, I am sharing this post with everyone. A Pink Panther Gatto and this beautiful Italian song to makes things a little more cheery.🇮🇹 🐱🍀🇨🇦♥️🙏

And for Caturday, a Pink Panther who now has claimed the gothic chair for his own with the soft black velvet pillow which has you can see he almost disappears if not for his pink hat. lol
