It seems like it was yesterday when two little kittens searched the neighborhood for a place to call home. Their long journey stopped at our back door; they had found their forever home.

The brother and sister brought with them love, happiness, and companionship. They are our best friends. And they are their best friends. A little brother and sister duo whose adventure in finding a warm and loving home had a happy ending.

I kept this card for many years, hoping one day I would use it to announce we had finally found our dream house. But life doesn't always go your way, and when the pandemic hit, choices of homes were virtually nil, and the prices were outrageous! So, last June, I had an opportunity presented to me by my son to buy his new home. It took me ten months to decide on buying Tyler's house. In the end, we devised a perfect plan. We could buy a cozy cottage by the sea down east. Ty, talk with the Maritimers at work, and I'll start searching. : ) ❤️♥️❤️♥️🌊🏠

Maggie and Bat, an archived photo of the two little rascals showing their brotherly/sisterly love.

In 1982 we married. I wanted the long veil that Princess Diana wore on her wedding day in 1981 and this song for our wedding. I didn't get either one. I gave the John Lennon record to my dad to give the DJ, unfortunately: he left it on the back dash of the car and warped. Not a purrfect wedding, a lot of things went wrong that day. After all these years, we are still married.
