*BEWITCHED BY THE BLOOD ORCHID*

Born under the sign of Pisces I am not at all surprised to the sort of gal that I am…… a puzzle to everyone and sometimes even to me! An eternal dreamer, always an actor of many disguises, constantly searching and seeking the magic of everyday life. My symbol of two fishes swimming in opposite directions typifies the contradictory nature that at times I seem to take; one moment I long to be near the sea and the next, quite content to live in the wood. But one constant for sure is the fact of how much I adore the creation of art, no matter the kind.

*Magic Flower Potion Bottles*.... A little different in name but basically the same in nature to *The Old Hag Weed Bottles* both containing Magic of all sorts; It all depends on the particular bottle.

*** The Blood Orchid of WychWood ***

Materials used in this Witch's Magic Flower Potion Bottle
Vintage 1887 Hiram Walker and Son Amber Whiskey Bottle, Vintage Key,Rose Jewel,Vintage Brass Orchid,Vintage rose drop jewels, rusted stars, metal orbs, copper wire, solder, patina.

While in making this bottle my daughter Emma asked me:"And what do you call this flower"? I replied: It's an Orchid, just not sure " and she interrupted : "you mean the " Blood Orchid ".
Completely captivated , entranced and just plain curious, I implored her to continue on telling of where she came upon the name. As it so happens , it derived from the movie "Anancondas -The Hunt for The Blood Orchid", a movie I once again ran away from in the opposite direction. I am a total Ophidiophobia , have a terrible fear of snakes and so it was a movie that I gladly skipped, but apparently missed a most  interesting story; sometimes I  wish I wasn't such a scary cat.
In that moment, suddenly we both realized we were enveloped in the magical evolution and birth of …… " The Blood Orchid of WychWood ".

*** The Blood Orchid of WychWood *** Magic Flower Potion Bottle

Entangled in stars, the Blood Orchid blooms . A strange vine slowly creeps it's way up the lovely bloom, embracing and twisting the flower ,capturing tiny blood drops that have escaped from within their confines and hoping to catch a little bit of that magical potion that contains the power of  youth.

It's Magic lies still inside it's chamber walls of amber hue, a prismatic jewel glows the power it holds within and the orbs dance about, way up high capturing light and holding all good dreams belonging to you.

•*´¨***..¸.•*´¨*..¸*´¨*.

I WAS BEWITCHED BY A NAME, BOTHERED BY FEAR AND
TOTALLY BEWILDERED OF MY CHANCE MEETING MAGIC ONCE MORE.

*´¨***..¸.•*´¨*..¸*´¨*.
And....I was able to capture some of the Magic these bottles  cast on the walls.

*VERBENA CAUGHT IN THE SUNLIGHT*

I truly Believe this epitomizes

a MAGICAL POTION BOTTLE BELONGING TO A

 BEAUTIFUL WITCH....HEY THAT'S ME......
I WISH.... •*´¨***..¸.•*´¨*.

These bottles of art are spellbinding! What an obscure reference for your daughter to come up with .... it obviously made an impact on her.... me, I'm with you. Didn't see it, and don't want to. I don't like snakes, but tghe Reptile house is always a stop for me at the zoo... I just love the cold chills those slithery critters give me!
I'll enjoy visiting here again!
hugs and blessings from Australia!
